Method to make Turmeric Rice
- Rinse rice until water runs clear, drain.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add olive oil and butter.
- When butter is melted, add onion, finely chopped tomatoes, and garlic, saute until softened.
- Add rice and 1tsp full of zorganic Turmeric Powder. Stir until combined. Add water and cover pan. Increase heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, allow to simmer 15-20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
Rice to Water Ratio: 1 cup rice = 2cups of water.
